Seasonal Work ~ Cherry Season
Harvest time is a very busy time and we employ many fruit pickers and orchard staff during this period. Mainly backpackers. The work can be physically demanding at times due to the heat in December which can get to temperatures of over 30 degrees. Sensible light long sleeved clothing and a wide brimmed hat should be worn and workers should carry sufficient drinking water and apply sunscreen. Our summers can be hot! Our days start early to beat the heat and we have an amenities block and campsite so you can freshen up at the end of a hard days’ work.
Camping is available to our fruit pickers on request, depending on availability and suitability. It is best if you are travelling in a van or vehicle which can also be used as accommodation. We have kitchen facilities on site so you can store and cook your food. Our orchard and camping site is only a short 5 minute drive to town.

Cook (1-2 positions)
Cooks required to feed harvest workers during peak season
- Requires early morning starts
- Plan and prepare breakfast to be served early
- Other orchard / staff / cleaning duties on offer
- Can count for 88 days, paid weekly, payslips provided

Orchard Hand
- Orchard experience essential
- Must be willing and able to start early morning
- Must be hard working and reliable
- Own transport and drivers licence essential
- Camping available. Please enquire. limited spaces

- Please advise if you have any of the following skills: tractor driving, forklift, supervising staff, record keeping, payroll
Harvest crew
- Cherry picking experience essential
- Training provided
